The Africa Digital Campus partners will hold a Conference to close the project’s pilot phase. The Conference will be held on December 6, 2024, at the Golden Tulip, Cotonou.
The theme for the Conference: ‘Bridging The Innovation Divide: Advancing E-learning and Infrastructure in Africa,’ will explore how key stakeholders of African universities – governments, funders, university administrators, research and education networks and university faculty mobilise ideas and resources to innovate to meet the ever-dynamic needs of the digital education environments to support the delivery of pedagogy in within and outside the four walls of African universities.
Keynotes and panel discussions will highlight and showcase the work done under the ADC project in pilot countries and its impacts. They will then look into the future to identify paths to meet the demands for and options of digital technologies and how to harness them to address challenges such as access, quality, and equity in digital education delivery in higher learning institutions.
The Conference aims to inspire collaboration, showcase best practices, and promote strategies for creating a more connected and digitally empowered academic environment in Africa.
